It's important to pay attention to your body language as it is what your students will ultimately respond to. Words can be made up, so it’s not unusual to be skeptical about what’s being said.
Body language, on the other hand, will almost always be taken at face value.From a very early age we learn to watch people's faces for their reactions. This trait is instinctive rather than acquired. As children, we all knew 'the look' given by our mother, which would mean 'behave yourself or else...'
